SPRING SEASON '99

Registration will take place in February. Registration forms have been mailed out to currently registered players and made available for new players through the schools and Thurman's Bike & Sport. All registrations must be returned by March 1. Teams will be selected in March and the first games will be played Saturday April 10.

What's new?

COACHES CLINIC

A coaches clinic has been scheduled for March 19th and 20th. This is a NSSA sanctioned course which leads to an "F" license. The class will be held at Hayward School from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday March 19th and 9:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. Saturday March 20th. Cost is $40. SOCCER CAMP

A British Challenger Soccer Camp is tentatively scheduled for June 28 - July 2 in Nebraska City. The camp will include five 1/2 day sessions for $81.00. The cost includes a T-shirt and soccer ball.

The coaches are all very experienced in both playing and coaching. We have heard good reports about these camps from other clubs. This is an excellent opportunity for our members to improve their skills.

At this time there are 4 groups planned: Age 14 and above boys; Age 14 and up girls; Age 11-14 coed; Age 8-10 coed. Groupings may be adjusted according to registration numbers. The groupings are intended to provide training at the appropriate skill level for each player but they are not set in stone. We will make an attempt to accommodate individual schedules so that all interested may participate.
